Best place to view the ParadeAnywhere along the Parade Route is great but if it were me I would go towards the front of the Parade on South Main Street. Between Allen Ave and South Main Street at 40.
The Parade staging area starts at Allen Ave and goes to West and East Millbrooke on South Main St.. To get the best view and all the free items from the parade, participants should choose a location after Allen Ave going towards the center of town. The Parade gives out a tons of free gifts, flags, pinwheels and even t-shirts. Candy is tossed from the participants, poppers go off and lots a fun stuff happens. All of our local businesses are there too. The parade is exciting for our kids, we Just ask that you keep a eye on the little ones. We don't want them running out in the middle of the road for candy. We do ask that if you bring you brave pet (there is loud music and bangs etc.) that they are on a leash at all times. Also we are a rain or shine event. |
What to bring
We highly recommend you bring chairs,
water, sunblock and hats. Preferably Red/White and Blue hats and wave your American Flags proud. We do hand those out during the parade. Why you ask, Because its our birthday and we are so happy to share it with all of you, that we threw a Parade. This is what Woodstown NJ is all about. Small Town, BIG PARADE. |
